Bookkeeping SpecialistThe Bookkeeping Specialist Program teaches the most popular accounting program in the nation – QuickBooks®. How popular is it? In 2008 QuickBooks' share of retail units in the business accounting category reached 94.2 percent according to Intuit, its developer. In addition, the Program adds expert level training and Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Certification preparation for Microsoft Excel , and certification training as a Florida Notary Public.

All course books, exam preparation software, MOS vouchers and Notary registration and Stamp are included in the Program. Three Microsoft E-Learning courses are also provided to support supplemental learning objectives on the Microsoft Office Suite. Applicants must have a high school diploma, GED or a T.A.B.E. test with a result of at least 9th Grade Level. Bookkeeping Specialist runs 160 clock hours over 32 training days, Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m..
